A detailed note about stadium

We all know that a stadium is a kind of place or the venue for the outdoor sports, concert or the other types of events. There will consist of a field or the stage that are either partly or fully surrounded by the tired structure of design that allows the spectators to stand or to sit and watch the event. Almost half of the stadium has a capacity of maximum 10,000 are being used for the football association. Some other common stadium for the sports are cricket, bullfighting, rugby, gridiron football, field lacrosse and rose bowl stadiumetc. when there is a large number of space then it can be used as a concert venue too.

Different types of modern stadium

The domed stadiums are being distinguishes from the conventional stadiums by the help of their enclosing roofs. Most of them are not basically the domes when it comes to the pure architectural sense. Sometimes these can be described as a vaults.  Some will be having truss- with the supported roofs and the rest will be having more exotic designs like tensegrity structure.  But with the context of the sport stadium, the word dome has become common for all the stadium that are covered. 

Though the enclosed dome stadiums are known as the stadium, it is because it is large enough for the public and the design that are basically known as an outdoor sports like athletics, football associations baseball and the rugby. The designs that has been done for some indoor sports such as ice hockey, volleyball, basketball etc. are known as arenas.
